I have several pics from our adventures that we've done and I forgot all about them quietly sitting in my camera. This was Aurora's b-day party. It was at a Rec.Center and it was fabulous. Everybody had a lot of fun and the kids had more than enough to do inside while the weather was not cooperating outside. I know that's a big surprise!!
This was right up Logan's alley. He loves sports! He's my sports kid.
King of the family castle perhaps?!
Olivia is my decorator. Loves to be designing and helping Uncle Jimmy.
My mother, who can't sit still and probably figures I forgot about these pics and wasn't going to add them!! HeHe.

April Already
Logan has a new bear friend. He took interest in his bear for whatever reason. He puts it to bed, gives it a drink, tells it goodnight, etc. It's kind of funny watching him because he's very nurturing with this little bear. I also notice he tells the bear the same things i tell him.
I found Logan sitting on the potty just like this one day. Not sure why and I didn't ask either. You couldn't stage this stuff if you wanted too. Maybe he was talking to himself and thought if he was covered up, I couldn't hear him???
Much of April has passed us by and not much happening here. I could blame it on the weather, but the weather don't care! Before I know it, the kids will be done with school and I'll be pulling my hair out everyday. Oh yes, I do take my 3hr. peaceful mornings very seriously these days.
Maybe Easter weekend will prove to be a turning point to the weather. We have already had Spring Break and it might of well had been winter break instead. Funny when the kids leave in the morning with a spring coat and need a winter one by afternoon. I just don't know what to say to that.

Spring has Sprung!!
Spring has finally arrived!! Spring Break is next week! A much needed break. I have to say, this school year has flown by. Maybe it's because I've had some peace and quiet in the mornings or maybe it's just that it has been a good year. Either way, I can't believe April is almost upon us.
This month and next month brings, birthdays, birthdays, birthdays. Hard to believe Olivia is turning 9! Please remind me how 9 is still a baby when we hit 13!! It's not far off friends! This always brings the controversy of how cousin Mackenzie's b-day is always(and forever will be) 10 days before hers.
This weather has brought us to wear our kids out by going places and being outside. I think I can come out of hibernation at this point. Logan's school was having their annual school carnival friday night and that was fun. Much chaos and we all know I don't do well in chaos, but i survived. Logan seemed to love just being free throughout the school.
Sunday brought a trip to the zoo. I got a really, really great deal on zoo membership that needed to be taken care of. Wore those kids out. We should have taken the wagon with us, lesson learned. Kids had a blast. Olivia who has been there so many times, seemed to enjoy it more and I'm thinking it was b/c Logan is getting older and can do more and is more interested. They thought having lunch at the zoo(that olivia packed) was the best ever! I think we need to get them out more often!! Life is getting easier and going places is getting easier now that Logan is getting older. Potty training is going soooo great, only a pull-up at night! Life is getting easier!!

Chuck E Cheese
If there is one thing me and Rich have agreed on for the past 5yrs. it has been that we would NEVER go back to Chuck E Cheese. We were there when Olivia was 3 for a b-day party and that was it, never to return. CEC is just pure chaos. For those of you that know me, I don't do well in chaos. My personality is to be organized (i would love to be organized) and that place doesn't fit the bill.
All that said, that leads us to our nephews birthday. I get a text saying his party is at........Chuck E Cheese. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. We don't go there, we can't go there. It goes against everything me and Rich have agreed on for 5yrs.!!! So being there was no getting out of going and I don't like to think my kids could have had a great time and because I can't stand chaos, we stayed home...we went.
Fast forward 5yrs......the place has been renovated and very nice and accommodating to kids of every age. Logan has a whole different personality than Olivia at 3. The party was at 4:30!!
So all in all it was fun!! Logan loved it, loved the mouse, which in turn Olivia now loved the mouse! I was glad after all that we went. Shouldn't every child have the CEC experience.
For the record....we never went back after Olivia absolutely wanted to climb through the tunnels (you know, the hamster tunnels up high) and panicked right in the middle of them, started crying causing a scene, and Rich had to climb like a over sized hamster to get her out! Nope, never went back for 5yrs.!!

Valentine's Day
This was Logan's first V-day party at school. I think he's catching on to party days! They sure get a lot of stuff in preschool. I like to think the ones that bring in the "load" do not have older children and see what gets wasted by kids!!
There is quite a bit of different disabilities in his class. Funny how as kids they all can get along with their disabilities and nobody is different. Now if the rest of the world was that way. I have to say, it amazes me how each child knows how to get around their "slow downs" and just go about their business.
Logan has decided he wants to be potty trained now. Every child has a "switch" that just clicks one day and that's it...they know how to do it. He's doing really well. Better than I expected of him. Even staying dry during night!! That's a bonus in itself. So far, we are off to a excellent start, the real challenge lies ahead of traveling. Now I need to wrap my brain around, knowing where the nearest bathroom is at all times and making sure we go before leaving the house!! All in good time, all in good time!!

Waiting....for Spring
While we sit and patiently wait for Spring, of course there are still snow pics. I love taking pics of Logan just to see what facial expression you might get. Man of little words, he is. The face says it all.
Olivia reminded me a ton of myself in this pic.
Make snow cones out of snow. No lemons required!

Pa. Christmas
On to our 3rd day of Christmas. We always have a great time exchanging gifts. You just never know what your going to get! Logan loved it, Olivia loved it and Aurora loved it!
Had to help dad put the workbench together. He's such a helper and LOVES tools!
Uncle Mike got a new puppy! All together now...ahhhh. She was so shy about everybody but the kids tracked her down.Of course all I heard for 2 weeks after that, was how we should get a new puppy. Ok, ya, let's get your brother potty trained first!!
All in all our Christmas's were great. I love watching the kids, love getting presents, love giving presents, and LOVE the home cooked food!
