Sneak Peak
Busy, Busy, Busy and it's not even Thanksgiving yet! Did I mention how badly I'm waiting for this week to pass by?! Oh,I can't wait till next week........Mom's cooking, family, the Macy's parade, shopping, and just getting out of Ohio!! I have a feeling this xmas is going to be a fun one!
Speaking of christmas...I got a little done for it this week. We got our pics done and my cards are also done!! That's makes me 1/4 of the way done!! Not to spoil the fun for my family I'm not posting most of the pics on here until after Thanksgiving, but just wait till you see them! They are not as clear as I would like them, but I'm assuming that's b/c they are off a disc??
Olivia is just counting down the days to go to Pa. In fact she had a meltdown the other day in the car over pappy nesbit. Poor kid, she just broke down crying about how she missed them!! Oh, I feel her pain.
Logan is talking up a storm these days, meaning he's repeating everything and calling objects by their names. I get tons of kisses before bed!! Love it! He's learning to recognize shapes now and his numbers. So all he wants you to do is draw so he can name them.......hey if he wants to learn, I'm all about that!!

Hello everyone! Here's our (Olivia's) new addition. The poor kitty is named Stacy, and it's a boy but if you ask Olivia it's a girl and there's no two ways about it. On further review, it is a boy, so it will remained confused the rest of it's life.........
Well here we are into Nov. already. Black Friday ads being posted, turkey advertised in the local flyer, and i'm so far behind on doing stuff, I need it to be August all over again!! LOL I have started making "wish lists" for the kids on what I think santa should bring, Olivia's list in front and back of a notebook sheet and her comment to me when I said "maybe you should trim that down a little and possibly take the laptop(yes a laptop) off of it" was..........well, santa is magical and they make stuff at the North Pole, so it shouldn't be a problem! Yikes, who created this "i've thought ever possible answer out in the world" child!! Somebody needs to inform her that Mrs. Clause stays at home with her children(elves) so they don't have to go to a babysitter and Santa, well he can only work so many hrs. in a week. (note to self).............
We had teacher/parent conference last week and of course it's the same ol' thing, she's doing great and I'm very proud of her for that. I have noticed something through the yrs. now and since we have 3yrs. in now, I have other yrs. to compare too. Every teacher she has had (3 now, well 4 if you count preschool) has picked up on her incredible creative talent she has. Now as a mother, of course i see it, but to have 4 teachers pick up on it and bring it to your attention, that says something. It says she expresses it not only at home, and the teacher is paying enough attention to pick up on it and let her express herself in school which now a days is a bonus.........
On a lighter note: Looking to trade a 2yo. male for a 5yo., potty trained male and in full time kindergarten............that sums up what Logan has been up to these days!!!!!!!!

Halloween '09
Where do I start? Time has passed me by once again and when I saw how long it's been since I've posted pics, i realized your all probably feel deprived! We have done some things since the last post. We went to the akron zoo for "Boo at the Zoo", Olivia has gotten a perfect report card (I love her teacher so much), we have received Olivia's book with her drawing on the front (which reminds me, i should take pic and post), and a lot of things that I just can't remember!!
I have recently gotten addicted to Facebook and spend a lot of "spare"(yeah, right) time on there. Funny how many people you forgot about and suddenly there they are.
I look into this little kids faces and I see a story. A lot can be told by a look. I see stories of success and i see triumph when odds are stacked against you. As we go places and do things I am realizing the age difference in my kids and what a struggle it can be somedays and i think "I can't", but at the end of the day "I did". Age can be such a difficult task that I have learned through my own experience with my own sister. We have so many different ways of thinking about things. I hope for the future the distance doesn't become longer between Olivia & Logan but only brings them closer. For right now, it's a struggle, she's old enough to do things I've waited 7yrs. to do with her. Logan is at a bad age right now for doing those activities and it causes stress on me to work around obstacles to make it right. I do enjoy both kids at their seperate ages for who they are at that age and their different personalities, it is fun to watch them grow and at the end of the day it's nice to sit back, watch a good show and sleep all night only to get up the next morning and do it all over again!! Oh well, truth be told "I will get through this"..............
