I think I forgot to post pics of the book that Olivia got front cover of last year. Well we have had the book for some time now and we finally got the framed original!! I wondered all summer what exactly was going to happen to this when it was all said and done. Rich argued with me that they would keep them hanging in the town hall and we weren't going to get it. Well I was quit surprised when her teacher called and said we could come and pick it up!! This is truly something every parent would be highly proud of and we have the pic to hold on to forever!

Pa. Snow
We finally made it back home this past weekend. The snow had started to melt a bit from the twice a month showing of Mr. Sun! I must admit Mr. Sun added some much needed energy boost to my life, for now. It was actually the perfect sled riding weather, not too cold. We chose to use the neighbors driveway and I'm sure they didn't mind b/c they got a much needed shoveled path down it!!
I need to find a bigger hill next time. Olivia is getting bigger and by the time she goes down, it's time to get right back up. Logan loved going down. He even went down by himself and was smiling at the bottom. I figured, he sits low in the tube, and he can't move very good with his snow clothes, so he's chances of being able to get out were slim to none! I make a great mother, don't I!! We did have someone at the bottom to catch them before they hit the road, so it was all good.
Jimmy joined us along with his girlfriend Gwen and her daughter Aurora. We could have had a great snowball battle but Logan took a tired fit and I had to take him in.
I think maybe (fingers crossed) Logan is done with his hunger strike. He has started eating more. Nothing is more frustrating than a child that won't eat and it sits there on the plate. All is well for now here. Hey not much longer and March will be here! Can't say it enough, I CAN'T wait until Spring..................

FYI
I have no idea why that post will not leave paragraphs, but it won't, sorry about the hard read!
Bye Bye Olivia
It's so cute when Logan and the kitty wait in the window for the bus to go by in the mornings. I think they both miss her when she's gone!
So, when I signed up to have kids, I signed up for the kids that don't get sick, spit up on me, pee on me, don't tell me "no", tell me how I'm the worst mother EVER, eat all their meals, don't scream, don't spill anything, do sleep all night, etc. I got none of the above!! Just a little humor! Of course I got the best kids in the world and so did you!!
That all brings me to my next stressful point in my life. Found out that Logan has a urinary tract infection. Odd for a boy to have one of these, very common for girls. So we are now scheduled for a ultrasound next Friday to have a look at his kidneys and such to see what, if anything, has caused the problem. Very nerve racking for a parent when you don't know for sure if something is going on or not. That always takes me back to reality as a reminder that being a preemie he's not out of the woods yet. Preemies can have so many issues and of course we have gotten through a lot of them at this point, but it goes to show you how fast something can happen and make you think about how easy life has been and you just don't realize...................on a lighter note, it could just be a fluke thing that happened and nothing at all will come out of it.
For a little humor in my life I am now reading the book "I am Ozzy". Seems entertaining so far.

So Much Snow
Well I'm writing with a little frustration about the recent weather. First I have to say we have gotten snow, but not what probably the rest of you have (Pa., NJ, etc.) I had planned a trip home this weekend. Olivia's got a 3 day weekend, and the Daytona 500 is on Sunday. Well, I don't think that's going to happen this week. As Olivia would say, "How can you have too much snow?" Well kid, you haven't lived in Pa. your whole life!!

February....looking brighter
So, another January comes and goes. Can't say I'm not happy to see it go! Here comes February, full of hearts and of course the famous groundhog. Of course he saw his shadow, would you expect it any other way?? Even if he doesn't see his shadow, good weather doesn't come any sooner, but I'll play along!! I have noticed it staying lighter longer in the evenings and that's a true bonus. Maybe by March we will see more sunlight! I need more sunlight to function!!
