Yes, I am very backed up on my coupon cutting. Probably why I can't seem to drag myself to start spring cleaning even though there's so much I want/need to get rid of. Hopefully today is the day I cut all afternoon.
Today is Earth Day. Not sure how Olivia is celebrating in school. I'm sure they have some project planned. I got some more free reusable grocery bgs. the other day and really think I'm going to start using them. One is a cleveland browns bg. from Giant Eagle and if my mother tells me they have Steeler ones at home, I'm going to scream! Olivia wanted to know what I was doing with "that ugly bag" and I had to tell her I had no choice. So we are leaving the grandparents house last night and our way down the driveway Olivia said, "dad can you tell grandma to shut her basement lights out, there's nobody down there". Impressive I thought, they must really stress this stuff in school. That's probably why every time I turn around she's shutting off my kitchen tv, lights, etc. when I'm not looking. Wonder if Uncle Mike still needs all the lights on to walk down the hallway at home??? LOL....that surely would be a good topic for Olivia to stress to him!
To celebrate Earth day/week a company called Oransi has a laundry ball called Robby Ball. Apparently these are huge in Europe (or somewhere). It claims to wash your laundry for up to 1yr. depending I'm sure on how much you wash. All you do is toss this ball in. Original price $32.95, enter code EARTH and get 25% off of it. Imagine being able to wash laundry for 1 yr. for $25.00(or less, do the math) and not have to lug all those laundry bottles home so often! It's gotten 2 thumbs up from people that own them. I'M TEMPTED!! Do you have one of these, ever heard of them??? oransi.com

Clowning Around
Me and Logan do a lot of goofing around during the days. You can't help it, it's who he is. A lot of work don't get done either, but there on young once, right!? He is the funniest boy to be goofy with cause he doesn't get mad at anything!
He's growing up bunches and just loves playing with other kids and trying new things. He's talking more and more every day. Just to think, this time last year, he was holding on to me for dear life when we would walk through the yard. The yard was so very bumpy to him and he couldn't keep his balance. Now he owns the yard!!

Easter
Easter was great this year. The weather was awesome. You can't ask for much better than that. When you can come outside Easter morning, first thing and find eggs! Olivia's b-day just happened to fall the day before Easter this year (April 3). Worked out great for the family to be here for both b-day and holiday (oh, Olivia's b-day is a holiday!!). Last year for Easter we were in Myrtle Beach, so we did not see my family and we missed my mom's great cooking. This year we got both!!
Nothing says I'm 2 like riding a purple/pink princess quad. Luckily Uncle Jimmy and Gwen bought him his own Handy Manny red one! (Which is for his b-day in Aug. :)
My little girl is growing up right before my eyes and I can't stop it. Like Rich said, "you do realize she's half way to driving age :<........gosh when did that happen. My little boy is getting so big and acting more and more like a big boy. He's all boy, teasing his sister (yes, he's catching on to that), playing hard and getting dirty, but at the end of the day, he's my hugger, kisser and cuddler. He's such a boy!!

Skating Party
Olivia has begged for a long time to have a "friend" birthday party and everywhere she suggested was just way too expensive and with a thrifty mom, that wasn't happening. This year we come to find out that the roller rink wasn't all that bad of a price and with her new found love of roller skating, it fit like a glove. She's gotten good, much better since she got her own skates for her b-day :)
I think 8yo. is a good age for a larger child party. The kids were great and we had no problems. Logan got to stay home and nap with grandma, but for the better. I thought twice about it, but this was about olivia and all we would have gotten done doing was chasing Logan. Shhh...he'll never know he didn't go!!
