It's official...my little boy is going to preschool next year. It is bittersweet as you can imagine. I had such a hard time letting Olivia leave for kindergarten that year. I worried until the first 3 weeks were over. Let alone I had Logan in Children's at the time. Logan will ride a mini bus that will pick him up at the end of the drive. Your dying to see the pic in the fall, aren't you?! Why is it so hard to let go of your children when you can't wait for so long until they go to school all day?! Must be some kind of mixed psychology. I figure, Logan will do 3yrs. of preschool (yes that late aug. b-day kills him), so by the time both my kids are in school all day, it will have been 11yrs. since i haven't had a child at home! Now i know why i am crazy, can't remember anything, and clueless sometimes! That's 11 long yrs. and needless to say, in 3 more yrs. i'm going to sit back that year and just enjoy i made it that far!
Summer vacation is upon us. Olivia's last day of school is June 3. I can't wait until she's done. I'm tired of fighting with her to get up in the AM. The weather has finally been so beautiful. Don't even mind the heat, at least it's not 50 degrees,. raining and my furnace is running!

Mother's Day card my children are being made to memorize!! LOL

Where to start......i could start by saying i need there to be 3 of me, not 2 anymore. Gosh, who knew that having a family could keep you so busy and exhausted! Nobody ever warned me. So between doing misc. projects i've started and doing the running around that needs done, nothing is getting done. i've finally got the urge to start spring cleaning, you know when you finally get that feeling that it's time for stuff to go already?! Yep, got it. That started last wed. and i haven't had time since then to get back at it...........like i said, i need 3 of me.

Mother's Day was great. Anytime i get back to see my mom makes it a great mother's day. Weather was not so nice, but you go with it. Fortunately none of us got blown away with the high winds, but i did witness sleet and that made me want to head home! My brother jimmy & Gwen went above and beyond surprising me with mother's day gifts!! It's nice to feel appreciated from your brother. So they got me this really cool card and it starts out by saying "oh my queen, your wish is our command", in a cartoon voice and i said my children should have to memorize this and saying it every morning! I swear they both are trying to memorize it. Olivia keeps repeating it to herself and logan always has it in his hands...........funny kids they are!!
Logan had his first preschool screening. Apparently, 2 1/2 yo. are not that cooperative! Looks like he may get in, which he will do 3yrs. of preschool before K...yikes huh! We can't pass it up though, it would be 3yrs. for free and i hear all wonderful comments about it. I know i will be a mess sending him at first. oh come on know, he's my baby and he's been my little baby which seems like forever! He just seems too little to go off without his mamma! All things happen for a reason and it's not about me, it's about what is best for him. This friday is another testing/evaluation for him, so we shall see. Hard to believe this school yr. is coming to a close (june 3). Gosh, Olivia will be in 3rd grade next yr...........................

So Big

Ok, say it with me.......OMG is he getting big! I'm losing my little baby boy. A lot has to do with the hair cut and clothes, but his faced has thinned out so much even since cmas pics. I think he looks a whole lot like the Nesbit's in these pics, maybe it's the ears!! He is growing up so much everyday and saying so much more everyday. He chirps on and on about stuff just like his sister. I know I had nicknames as a kid b/c I talked so much, so I'm truly getting paid back for it.

I need to brag about somethings and I'm going to brag b/c I think it's pretty cool. My little boy knows his ABC's, count to 13, all shapes and the big one that we struggled with COLORS!! He can recognize all of them on paper, out of order, you name it. I'm so proud and sometimes when people tell you about how they can't get over how much he knows and there are kids older than him out there that don't know this stuff yet, it brings a smile to my face since it's been a long road of not knowing what to expect out of him...............makes me say "we're going to be OK" :)
He's funny, doesn't like band-aids on him. He'll get a boo boo and tell you all about it, but put that band-aid on and he can't walk! Maybe that comes with all the "stickers" on him in the NICU. Put a sticker on his hand and he'll drive you nuts till you take it off. He doesn't like anything on his hands or feet (meaning dirt or food). Drives Rich nuts that he's so petty about it, being he's a boy. I said I would do things "right" with the second child and he proves to be a whole lot easier. I remember Liv would get her hands all messy and would just touch stuff in the house, would make me crazy following her around cleaning everything she had touched. Ok, that's when I had time to do that, but now there is no time. Not bad enough I couldn't find a corn dog that Logan ran off with the other day for lunch........needless to say, i found the stick not far from the dog.................
