Happy Halloween

Olivia had her Halloween party/parade today at school. They also had a pumpkin decorating contest and so this is her pumpkin that she did herself, my idea but all her painting, gluing, etc. So she won 2nd place in the contest!! If you would have seen what we went thru to get it to school in one piece, you would be proud too!! It was supposed to be candy corn, but we took it to the next level. This is Mackenzie & JJ. They are Olivia & logan's cousin's on the Nagle side. JJ is 3yrs. old and Mackenzie and Olivia are only 10 days apart. Yes, they are twins seperated at birth!! No, but they certainly act like it. If there is something to fight over, they will!! If anybody knows how to rotate these pics, let me know. I know there's a way, but can't figure it out.
All the cousin's together! I don't know what this pose is from Olivia, but sometimes this is what she does. It looks like her "back alley" look?! Look how little Logan looks compared to the 3 of them together. You could almost play "find logan" instead of "find Waldo"!!

Boo At The Zoo

So we made our yearly trip to the Akron Zoo for Halloween. We have done this since Olivia was first born. Funny, we didn't think we would make it this year with logan being due on the 27th. Funny how things work out. Mr. Logan stayed behind with Grandma Nagle, Olivia wanted to show him the zoo something terrible, but it got chilly and damp towards the night. Besides I couldn't find a costume small enough!! This picture was a Red Panda that had the cutest face ever, but it wouldn't look towards me for a picture and didn't show up good.

Think olivia likes to pose!! She wanted to be a kitty again this year and I couldn't find one to save my life, so likely this one fit from last year.

All I'm thinking is Madagascar!!

I Traveled With a Superstar

Let me tell you about this day.......It was a Monday (ugh!!) and Logan had another eye exam (which had turned out much better this time) well olivia got sick (the croup, not sure how to spell it) so i knew if i sent her to school they would send her home and it would be around the time I had to leave to take logan, so i kept her home. I told her to pack some things to do cause we would be there like 2 1/2-3 hrs. Well........she jazzed herself up, packed everything but her bed, and off we went. Braclets, rings, sunglasses, hat, who would notice?! EVERYBODY. She walked and wheeled her backpack behind her like a movie star that just got off a plane and people loved it. She wouldn't let me walk with her, I had to walk up ahead w/logan. Then the real drama came when we got to the NICU waiting room. Of course as soon as we stepped foot into the waiting area she did this god awful cough and "I was too sick to go to school today"(add a little drama to that cough). I could have died right there. So we got pushed out into the hallway for the next 2 1/2 hrs. and out there she could really put a show on for everyone. She loved it and so did everybody else. I had to sit by the door opener so I pushed it for everyone going in the door, that was my highlight of it all. It really was funny and the appt. went much faster than when she hasn't been with me, but I didn't let on to her that, she would never go back to school!!

Olivia loves to draw and this is one of many chalk drawings on the patio. Thought it was cute.

Love this shirt. They have soooo many cute preemie clothes out there. I thought i would get over the clothes addiction I had with olivia when logan came along, but they are so darn cute and check out those thick legs!!!!!! SEXY

We happen to catch Logan between tantrums on these. She just wanted to pose and he would not cooperate for the longest time, but they turned out very nice at last.

Tea party anyone? This was on a Sat. and she's got such a imagination that I had to capture it.

Olivia taking one of many "fits". It's so funny though, she's got the pouting routine down pat to a science. Something didn't go her way!

Some new pics of Logan. He's so darn precious and he earned some belly time to sleep which he was just eating up cause he doesn't get to do it too often. In the hospital they always slept him on his belly cause they had all the "bells and whistles" that would go off.

Can't get enough of..........

These little feet. They are so precious and I know someday they will be big and maybe bigger than mine!

Pumpkin Time

Today is "Sweetest Day". Hope you got your sweets!!

It's that time of the year already. I remember those days of getting your hands all "slimed" up with pumpkin guts! We haven't made it to the patch to get a pumpkin, so we cheated and bought this one at the store. Obviously, a 12 pack of beer was needed in the making of this pumpkin!

Sleeping and Growing

20 little toes.........Priceless
Logan enjoying a swing

Everybody is doing really well! Olivia still doesn't like to go to school, nothing new there! If there ever is a "terrible 5's" instead of terrible "2's", she's got um! Maybe it's raising a girl, afterall everybody says boys are easier (I'm really thinking this is why God blessed me with a boy this time and not a girl, like I thought I wanted sooooooo very bad). I mean, only when you turn 5 can you actually say "i'm leaving this house and going up the street to stay"! Funny thing, we don't know anyone up the street, but she was going! Can't wait until she's 12!! Not really.........Logan is doing awesome these days, afterall, he's got to be over 5lbs. now. He had his first offical doctor's appt. on Wed. He weighed 4lbs.130z. and he's been gaining 5-7oz. a week. Soon he will be the weight Olivia was when she was born (5lbs.10oz.) soon. He got 4 shots and a oral shot, given in a very cleaver way, thru a nipple. He cried and got the really pouty face, I think I actually saw tears. The band-aids fit all the way down to his knees. He's a bleeder though, just like Olivia and Rich. All they have to do is get a scratch and they bleed to death! Not good for a mother who can't stand the sight of other's blood. We try real hard not to have many accidents!

Logan also had a eye exam the Monday before to check for ROP. It's a disease in preemie's when there's abnormal veins behind the eyes that block sight. Basically, the veins don't expand out and they stay bunched together and form a wall.......hard to explain. Well........let me tell you about this eye exam.......simple right?? not by any means! I won't tell you the details on how they do it, but I felt so bad when we left there, I swore I wasn't going back! So they are seeing some stages of the disease (which is normal at this point) so he has to go back again this Monday for another (I'll totally freak this time) and watch the progress. They could just fix themselves and branch out.....finger's crossed.

I Really DO Love My Brother

Actually awake!!

I swear, Olivia really does love her brother and is very proud to have someone now to call her brother. By the look on her face you would think otherwise. Ok, so I didn't pick the right time to take the picture, but Logan was awake and you got to catch that when you can. I took her to school on Friday and she couldn't wait for her teacher to see her brother, she walked down the hall with her head held so high, I could have cried, it was a moment.

My man, just hanging out before a car ride.

Meet the Grandparents

These are my parents! The parents that as a teenager, I thought had NO idea what they were talking about or knew anything about anything!! Fast forward to age 34, 2 kids, and a husband and they knew it all and still do. Funny how when you get older and have your own kids your parents all of the sudden were so right about everything!! I have a new found respect for my mother who put up with 4 kids and we seemed to turn out alright, and my dad who waited up every single night I went out with friends and drove me crazy. Some day my own will go thru those ages, and I will then send them to Pa. to live with their grandparents LOL............Thanks Mom and Dad

I've made you wait long enough

This was Logan's big day Friday. He's all ready to come home. Notice he's in the bassinet instead of the isolette. Olivia looks like she just can't wait to get her hands on him!

Logan's finally home sleeping in his own bed. Looks pretty comfy, huh! He's so precious. Olivia says all the time about how cute her brother is!!

I Love the Hat!!

He had his first Doctor's apt. on Wed. So here he is all ready to go. Let me tell you, what a experience we had. I was like a brand new mom all over again, with the diaper bag and carrying this car seat. Poor guy!! Everything went well at the doctor's. He's now up to 4lbs.6oz and has grown a little in length. He starts his baby shots next week.......poor mommy will be a mess again!

So those are some of the pics. Couldn't ya just eat him up. This little man has certainly has stole my heart!
Olivia found out that Logan's dr. wants her to have a flu shot this year so she don't get brother sick and she's not happy at all. She tells everybody about it when she sees them.
