Sleeping and Growing

20 little toes.........Priceless
Logan enjoying a swing

Everybody is doing really well! Olivia still doesn't like to go to school, nothing new there! If there ever is a "terrible 5's" instead of terrible "2's", she's got um! Maybe it's raising a girl, afterall everybody says boys are easier (I'm really thinking this is why God blessed me with a boy this time and not a girl, like I thought I wanted sooooooo very bad). I mean, only when you turn 5 can you actually say "i'm leaving this house and going up the street to stay"! Funny thing, we don't know anyone up the street, but she was going! Can't wait until she's 12!! Not really.........Logan is doing awesome these days, afterall, he's got to be over 5lbs. now. He had his first offical doctor's appt. on Wed. He weighed 4lbs.130z. and he's been gaining 5-7oz. a week. Soon he will be the weight Olivia was when she was born (5lbs.10oz.) soon. He got 4 shots and a oral shot, given in a very cleaver way, thru a nipple. He cried and got the really pouty face, I think I actually saw tears. The band-aids fit all the way down to his knees. He's a bleeder though, just like Olivia and Rich. All they have to do is get a scratch and they bleed to death! Not good for a mother who can't stand the sight of other's blood. We try real hard not to have many accidents!

Logan also had a eye exam the Monday before to check for ROP. It's a disease in preemie's when there's abnormal veins behind the eyes that block sight. Basically, the veins don't expand out and they stay bunched together and form a wall.......hard to explain. Well........let me tell you about this eye exam.......simple right?? not by any means! I won't tell you the details on how they do it, but I felt so bad when we left there, I swore I wasn't going back! So they are seeing some stages of the disease (which is normal at this point) so he has to go back again this Monday for another (I'll totally freak this time) and watch the progress. They could just fix themselves and branch out.....finger's crossed.
