I'm Such A Big Boy
Still not much going on around here, still that's good. Logan did figure out how to get on and off his little "rider"! Now he gets on it(which takes a little time with his short legs) and then he gets all excited that he got on!! It's hilarious. He's learning to climb a little, aren't kids suppose to actually walk before they climb??? He's got his skills in the wrong order.Olivia and her blue painted,lens-free, sunglasses. This child is going to need some serious therapy when she gets older!!

hmmm.......
I will be honest, I have nothing.....no pics, no news, not much in general to write about. Maybe it's the Feb. blues, maybe it's just nothing has been happening and i've been enjoying that little fact. Sometimes the quiet needs to be quietly taken in and enjoyed. No coughs, no running noses, fevers, nothing.......life's pretty good right now.
Logan is doing exceptionally well with his surgery and you cannot tell he ever had anything done, other than he "found" himself a new best friend!! LOL Those of you with boys will understand! This surgery was a cake walk compared to the last. I could tell you how great of a eater he is and blows my mind how much he eats! I Love It! Really, I don't know how he eats that much and you'd better have supper ready by 5 or he's in a meltdown over eating!
Olivia is starting to get that cabin fever feeling and we are driving each other nuts as of lately. Rich is still hanging in there and is finding things to do outside the house, or I'm sure we would have killed each other by now! I am currently reading the last book of Harry Potter and I have to say it's the best one yet. You can't put it down. I have caught myself still reading past midnight and not realizing it's that time already. Needless to say, it's hard getting up in the morning. Ok, well hopefully soon I will have some new pics of something you haven't seen before or someone will say or do something you haven't seen or heard before! Other than that, Spring is how many days away??................Have a Great Weekend!

Feeling Good
It's over. Logan's surgery is finally done and over and I must say, it went extremely well! He's a trooper. They did let us come home on friday, so that was a relief this time. By the time we got home, you couldn't tell he had anything done! In fact, other than being a little drowsy from the meds., it was like we never went. We have had some OMG moments with the catheter, but we are doing good. The catheter don't come out until Monday, so we are hanging in there, I feel a little better this time with it, being I am a veteran catheter taker carer!! LOL
Something funny kind of happened friday morning at the hospital. Did you ever feel like you were put in a place for a reason, but didn't know it until after the fact? Funny, Children's Hospital was having there annual radiothon last weekend and it started friday morning at 6am (which we were there for, bright and early) and ran through sunday. I had no idea this was the day for it and to be honest didn't really know much about it. I knew Olivia was collecting change and they were doing different events at school to raise money, but didn't know the magnitude of it all. I got to intently watch this radiothon taking place and the money people were giving and the patients they would talk about or bring down from their rooms. It gave me goosebumps at times, feeling like yeah, I know what your talking about. I got so involved with this I came home and listened on the radio and watched on the Internet. I felt so drawn to listen to what was going on. Then I realized, you were put there on that day for a reason and that was the reason. Believe me, there isn't a day that don't go by that I don't realize how lucky I am to have that gorgeous little face smile at me, but it makes me realize even more how lucky I am to have that little face smile back at me........
Olivia is a wonderful drawer. In fact she puts me to shame on drawing and making projects out of "junk", as I like to call it. She is crazy nuts over Alvin and the Chipmunks. Funny for how old they are. I even at times have to tell her to stop talking like a chipmunk! Seriously! Anyway, these are one of many, many drawings of hers of the chipmunks that I thought were worth sharing with you. She is so crazy over these chipmunks, that she said her brother was starting to look like Theodore!! LOL...........................

Steeler Fever
WooooHooooo! Yes, you know what I'm talking about. That wonderful little football game Sunday night! Hope you watched, it was a good game. I have to tell you though where I(we) watched it at, while my DVR was recording it for me. See Logan started feeling yucky again on Sat. See, I'm really glad to leave January behind me at this point. Not thinking too much about it, everyone seems to have some kind of illness these days, I gave him Tylenol. Well this went on until Sunday even and he was burning up, almost acting the flu. I thought maybe if he slept a little longer that would help him out. So after he got up from his nap he was still miserable and burning up. We decided at 6pm it was time to go to the ER. Fever's scare me and he wouldn't drink anything and I was out of options and ideas of what to do. He was getting much weaker at this point. So we put the wings away, shrimp away and pizza stuff away and off we went, not before I hit "record" on the tv. Fortunately there are some Steeler fans in Ohio and that's what was on the tv in the waiting room. So there we sat, as a family, watching the biggest game of the year. All dressed in black and gold. It was a long wait, as our Children's Hospital recently got flooded from a burst water pipe, so they are minus rooms. We finally got back to a room to see the doctor and I had Rich turn on the little tv in there so we could continue to watch. We did miss half time, but once again, i was recording. So we got home in time to watch the last 5min. of the game, which is real life is like 20min. Turns out Logan had double ear infections and one had burst through the eardrum causing the infection to go through and therefore that is why he was so sick. So all is good for now and it's going to stay that way, if I have my say. I have been going through the house and sanitizing everything.....
Logan's surgery is rescheduled for this friday.....still don't know if i'm going to have to reschedule again......
