You had to climb all those steps to get inside to see the above pic. I had to laugh when one boy said to me & Liv's teacher (Mrs.Warzinski)," if us kids can climb to the top, so can you." I thought that was hysterical coming from a 8yo. to a 36yo. Funny stuff those kids say.
Yes, 2nd graders are into bunny ears. I really don't care for this pic of me, I was up late that night and with the time change (which is kicking my butt) I really wasn't caring what I looked like.
Oh yes, I got to ride the bus with the kids. Note to self: Drive yourself next time.

This field trip was really fun and I enjoy all the kids in the class. It was somewhat of a science center also, so lots of cool stuff to explore. I took a pack of gum with me, knowing it was going to be a long day and would you believe my daughter ratted me out. No, they are not allowed to have it, but I tried to sneak it and she either smelled it or either she would catch me putting it in. We are too much alike. I didn't have enough for the class so that was my excuse not to share, but really, my own kid telling on me! What's this world coming too! She also made a big deal of the fact that I didn't leave my jacket on the bus. They all had too b/c they didn't want any one's coat left behind. Well I WOULD NOT forget my coat b/c I am a reliable adult who would not leave their coat behind.......hey the excuse worked anyway!
