Great Week

Let's re-cap the week, well at least as much as i can remember. Took the kids to the lake for lunch on Tues. (ok, we really didn't have lunch cause it was passed lunch when we went), I promised we would go on a day that wasn't too hot. These people down there that own a house are building a lighthouse attached to their house and it's really cool looking. I have to get pics of it, when of course I remember my camera! Took Olivia down to the library, they have these really neat programs down there and she loves them. Thank goodness for the free library and programs. Free is good. So this week was a magic show and this guy was good. His name is Rick Smith Jr. and he's been all Ellen, Jay Leno, etc. He's also in the Guinness Book of World Records. Anyway, the show was great and Olivia loved it ( I love how she's getting older and gets more out of things like that). We have been spending a lot of time in our pool, as promised by me that we would. The water has been really, really warm and you'll hear no complaints from me. This weekend our town had a "Rock the Dock" boat Regatta at the lake. Now I don't much about speed boat racing or who races, but it was nice. They were fun to watch, what you can watch with two kids with you, but interesting. They had carnival rides and lots of other stuff to do. Olivia of course wanted to ride the rides and thank goodness Rich will ride with her. She rode this ride below and I couldn't believe she really wanted to do it. BRAVO to her for being so brave. Logan did very well also for lack of sleep and it being hot. He just enjoyed sitting in the stroller and letting all the girls talk to him. We also went Red Raspberry picking on Sat. morning and that went rather well too. The mosquito's were awful and luckily I carry bug spray in the van with me. Olivia did really good with all the jaggers and bugs. The Japanese beetle has made a come back here and they are everywhere and very annoying. Just very annoying little flying bugs................

This is our lake behind our house. There are no beaches to hang out, but they are finally putting it to use. It was that hazy of a day, the pics look gray!
