Happy Fall Y'all
I finally got some good outside pictures the other day. Olivia wanted to rake a leaf pile and desperately wanted Logan to come and play with her. I don't know what she was expecting him to do, she's got high hopes about one day he will run and play with her! Well Logan wasn't very sure at all about the leaves. In fact he pretty much only touched them with one finger at a time and then wanted nothing to do with them, but instead enjoyed and laughed watching his sister jump!! He has been laughing a whole lot at Olivia lately and he's even got that devilish laugh when he does it, which makes me scared of what's to come in the future............

Go Blue!
Just wanted to give a shout out, to all the PENN STATE fans back home! There are a lot of dissappointed OHIO STATE fans here today...........including my husband.
On The Go
Logan is moving all through the house now and he especially spends lots of his time in my kitchen. He has blocks and balls that he throws and bounces all through the kitchen on the hard wood floor. He likes to get himself into a little trouble doing this also, like the drawers (already had a pinched finger), dog dishes (already bathed in them), etc.
Olivia finally had another tooth come out. This one took a little longer to let go. That's two now and there are lots more loose!
Peek-a-boo........loves standing on his head.

Until Next Year
Our cheerleading adventure has ended. Olivia seemed to like it and we were very lucky to get great weather for the games and most of the practices, much better than the weather we had for soccer. This was parent appreciation night and the kids got their names called and their parents and we walked them across the field, almost reminded me of our senior night in high school!Don't we all just have the best looks on our faces! LOL

Road Trip
This probably made no sense to anyone who looked this morning. I sat up last night and wrote a whole bunch of words and the blogger wasn't working right and erased all my words! i was mad and went to bed. Let me start again......
Fall is here and showing it's true colors and I'm welcoming the season and the "down time" it allows. Kids are in bed early, and it gets darker earlier. Now I don't jump up and down for the shorter nights and cold, but it's a little more relaxing. I decided (and Olivia was needing) a trip to Pa. The trees were beautiful (that's how I know I"m getting older) and I kept on pointing them out to Olivia and apparently she noticed too or else she was just humoring me and not saying, "I see them mom, for the 100th time." Every year since Olivia has been born we went to the Akron Zoo. It's a small city zoo, perfect for smaller kids. They have Boo at the Zoo there. Olivia has been there several times (including school trips, etc.) and she was just basically flying through the zoo to the treat stations and wanting to go home. The animals just weren't interesting anymore. They don't have the "big" animals there and the same tiger was getting a little boring for 5yrs. now. I decided we would try the Pitts. Zoo this year and see what it is all about. It was very nice and Olivia seemed to enjoy the different animals this time. Logan just goes with the flow and enjoys being pushed in the stroller and watching people.
The trip went really well. Here are some pics from the zoo and Olivia had a hand in taking some also, she's getting very good with the camera. Next year she will be wanting one for xmas! Oh, my two dogs got sprayed by a skunk last week and even after I have bathed them, the one still stinks. I know everyone says to use tomato juice, but does anyone have any other remedies???
This picture is showing my age. We were driving and I couldn't help but notice the wonderful view. You can't see it much in the photo, but in the car you could see hills forever.
My bunny and turkey! They both looked thrilled, don't they?!
These were the elephants and they had two babies with them. They were cute and big already.

Fall and Lovin' It
It was a absolutely gorgeous weekend, like God saying "get off your butts and do something before the snow flies". We had to get out and do something. I had been wanting to go and pick apples, so we went. We got lots of apples and it amazes me how cheap they are than in the store. It didn't take us long, but that is good for the attention span! Apples must mean more when you pick them yourself, because Olivia has not let them alone since we got them.
From there we were off to spend the day at Rich's parent's camper. This is their last weekend to close up for winter, so we went and spent the day. It's kind of hard with Logan and him not walking, cause let's face it, there's only so much you can do with him at a campground. Fun was had by all. I swear every time Logan would see his pap, he would say "pap". i know that child knows more than he lets on, only when he wants to let you know he knows. They were both sleeping before we got home, and then fell back asleep after getting pj's on, so that's a good day and night, right?!
Logan has been doing so much lately. He's pulling himself up all the time on something. usually it falls over on him, but he doesn't cry or seem to mind. Little bit longer and he will be standing on his own. For the first time tonight, he started crawling on his hands and knees, actually up on them!!! He finally got himself off of his belly. He's doing so much, I almost can't wait to see what he's doing by xmas!!
Please ignore pic, i look awful and rich does nothing to help when he takes pics.

No, I did not get another dog. This sweetie was out at the camper on Sat. and I had to take a picture, she's so darn cute!
The Varsity cheerleaders hosted a clinic and if you went you got to go to "Youth Night" for the Varsity football game. The girls loved this. They also made them feel so important! They got to walk across the field after being announced, then later they formed a tunnel for the football players to run through, and then cheered the first quarter with the "big girl" cheerleaders!! They all were amazed and felt so big when the band played, it's hilarious to watch them. It was a fun night, Rich got to see people he had not seen in a very long time, Logan sat back and loved the attention he got from everyone, and I, well, I got to chat with Olivia's bus driver (that is very important when your the mom, it's always good to know who's driving your kid to school). I love that women, she's got a very important job, and personally, I don't know how she does it!!

Caught Ya!!
I caught Logan up on his knees and pulling himself up to this play block. He was even reaching around the sides to play! I get so darn excited when I see him doing new things like this, it keeps the wolves(doctors) at bay from saying he needs therapy!!!! LOL

We Are Almost Clean
Ok, so we are about all clean here, every room, every shelf, blind etc. You can definitely tell i missed spring cleaning. I wanted to "simplify" the house and make it easier to clean and keep up with. Mission, accomplished.
I think we are getting in to Fall mode around here. I want to go and pick apples yet, but Rich has been working so much, we haven't had the chance. I promised Olivia we would decorate for fall/Halloween on Sunday. She has not been feeling well lately, and has been kind of crabby, I don't if it's allergies or what is going on. She is feeling well enough yet to think of questions that her mother either cannot answer or she doesn't understand what I'm telling her and therefore I don't know what she is trying to ask me. This one goes a little like this: "So mom, where is the end of the sky?" I tried, i really did to explain to her that the sky really doesn't end and she would not consider it, because, "It has to end somewhere, mom" and therefore I become, the mother who doesn't have all the answers and doesn't have a clue. I just simply (after a lengthy discussion, told her I have never been to where it ends.............
Totally up to mischief. This is how he crawls!!

Now I'm Going to Run Away!!
HELLO EVERYONE! I have been trapped in this house, cleaning! Good news though, I have finally got the living room done (after hearing Rich complain that he is not moving tvs, computers, etc. anymore, he also said that last time). Only the kitchen to go and it's done!\
Logan has decided that he don't need to sleep! Not during the day, not during the night. He has always been so awesome, just take him, lay him down and he would go to sleep on his own. He don't want to do that anymore! He's up at night, falls asleep on you, and as soon as you lay him down, he cries. Can't figure it out, and I have desperately tried everything. So once again, the Nagle house is sleep deprived. Makes me think, no more children!!
Those of you that know me and read my blog, know how I really hate run ins with animals. Especially if they don't have fur and don't say "bark or meow". I have discovered so many animals in my yard over the couple of yrs. we have lived here. This was another find I accidentally found the other day. Scared the crap out of me. It didn't move all day , so everyone got to see it. I figured I would take advantage of it and get some good pics. Too bad the contest for bugs and critters is over at the library!!...............Have a Great Weekend.
