Happy Be-lated Easter

Happy Easter to everyone! Hope the bunny brought lots of sweets. I don't have any pics of our holiday.....let me explain. First, Olivia got this darn stuffy nose cold and therefore passed it on to me for a few days, well in turn Logan got it. Worse thing that can happen to baby is a stuffy nose! Thursday, Rich started coughing and didn't quit, that then turned into some kind of flu that is going around (I called it "Asian flu'), he was really bad. So I didn't want to have the kids here with him while he was fighting that, so i decided we would go to Pa. anyway. Yes, I left my very sick husband at home to fend for himself. I was trying to desperately get everything packed up in the car Friday morning and Logan wanted me for everything (go figure), Olivia was making all kind of projects (go figure) and then I realized my van is on E. Should I just give up and stay at home? No, not me, that would have been the easy thing to do. So i tell Rich I will keep calling him and checking and off we go. Now this is after about 3hrs. worth of trying to load the car. So I did make the stop at the gas station and got really depressed when I put over $40.00 of gas in the car. So finally around 1pm we were headed East! I didn't get any pics only b/c I held Logan almost the entire holiday until Monday when we came back home. He wouldn't sleep too well with a stuffy nose and as soon as i laid him down he would wake up crying. I completely forgot about the camera in my suitcase. I even to make up for being a bad mom and not taking any pics, brought the vaporizer along with me (see why it took so long to get out of here), that worked at night only, but at least i got some sleep there.

All is well now, the Easter bunny came, Logan's stuffy nose is gone, Rich is getting back to normal and soon Olivia's spring break week will be over! She's bored and her friends are suppose to call this week to come over and play (let's hope that happens). She seems to get really bored when I make her come home from Pa. She would live there if she could! Logan is making growling sounds and it's really funny. He will just sit and growl his little head off. I said he sounds like a monster, but Olivia insist he sounds like a dinosaur. I think he's getting used to her being home cause he's always looking for her and when she comes around he just laughs and smiles at her. It's really cute, I think he thinks she's the best entertainment in the world right now. Olivia is getting her hair cut tomorrow and I vow it's all coming off. I'm tired of the long hair and fighting about combing it and doing "something" with it to keep it out of her eyes. I will have pics for that!
