I started going thru the USA today newspaper and came across this huge article about "momnesia", so I dove right in! I really thought I was going nuts, losing my mind lately. I have always been a person who knows what is going on, when it is going on, for who, and what time, etc. Well since childbirth, it's all gone out the window. I wondered if they had got bored and performed some brain surgery on me while I was asleep! I was (am) still forgetting everything. I mean, come on, the Dr's. office asked me a month ago how much Logan weighed and I said "8lbs.", he weighed 11lbs.!! That's major when their asking for a injection amount! Someone asked me how old I was, i proudly told them "33", yeah sister,last year! I know even Rich will look at me sometimes like, "are you kidding me", apparently he's not used to the "new me". So there's this article about having a child and how you forget so much because your mind programs itself to taking care of this baby and not weight, age, inches and so forth. I mean, I couldn't drive the grocery cart at the store without running into every corner of the aisle, it was (is) bad! So i read this article to find it is actually normal to do these things and i felt good for the day, like it was ok, that I wanted to feel a year younger for the day!! It was also on the Today Show!!
We had beautiful ice hung trees for 2 days. I missed the perfect opportunity to get awesome pictures. It sounded like a hard rain today when all of it melted and it pelted your car as you drove down the road. I hear there is another storm on the horizon...........
Olivia is doing soooooo much better these days. I call her my little Junie B. We get along like we are supposed too and it's great. Homework has become so much better. We sit down at night when Logan goes to bed and read Junie B. books and she loves it!!!!
