Anniversary & a Concert

Things have been starting to get a little crazy around here again. With cheer leading, and trying to figure out some kind of schedule there, and getting this house cleaned up again outside, since I decided I was done weeding for a while (who really likes to weed anyway and it was getting old). Of course Logan has appts. next week and so on! School starting soon is a whole other crazy story. Can't decide where to send her for sure (since they closed her elementary school down), and not knowing is just bothering me. Let's not forget, I'm a extreme planner, so those things bother me!

Me and Rich also had a anniversary on Aug.3, nothing spectacular. He did do the dishes once for me and we went and got ice cream and eat out. Nothing great, but this time last year, I spent it in the hospital with Chinese take out and Olivia bouncing on my bed and a nurse checking stats............anything could be better than that one!

Our neighbors are such wonderful neighbors to have. They have won tickets to a Poison concert this Thurs. and of course Rich took them up on it right away. They didn't want to go and they know we don't get out much, so they gave them to us. In a pavilion for the radio station w/free food and drinks. So I simply say, "how do you plan on doing everything this week and getting up Friday for work and I have company coming?" let alone a almost 1yro. that loves to get up before 7am. Seems funny to call him that!! Yikes. We are going he says, ok fine, we will go. Now as the time gets closer (now Olivia has cheer leading practice that night too) I am wondering what it is seriously going to be like. I haven't been to something like that in a looooong time. You know how you change when you have kids and kind of forget how to act like you used too, maybe it's b/c your always trying to set a example or your motherly instinct kicks in, who knows. My kids are young, so i still act like a mother instead of being 21 again!! Maybe Rich should find a new date for that night!! I will let you know how it goes.

Kudos to my cousin Natalie who also now has a blog and is showing her artistic skills like my other cousin Kim. Apparently I missed that gene pool and got cheated cause I only know how to copy!!! But girls, I know who to go to when I need ideas!!
