A Whole Lot of "Firsts"

We are once again doing a lot of "firsts" around here. First,(no funny intended)Logan is doing a whole lot of "commando" crawling. He doesn't get up on his hands or knees, but crawls like a army guy through the trenches. After watching him, realizing that he really is crawling, just commando style. He gets around pretty darn good these days, even more than when my parents were out, and he's into everything. He loves ribbons (the ones left on his b-day balloons) and cords, loves cords, they are very interesting ,you know.
Another first, that i have hesitated on for awhile now, was the car seat. I really needed him to be able to balance to put him in a grocery cart. So I finally did it and he wasn't sure what to think about the new seat or the direction he was now sitting in, but by the time we made our way back home, he was being giddy in the back, so I'm thinking he started to like it by then.
Another task we are going to do is getting the hair cut. I need to get Olivia's cut anyway for school, so I thought it was time for him to look like a boy! His hair is honestly so thick on top you can put in a barrette(not that I've tried, ok, I did!) So we are getting haircuts on Monday, right before school.
Another is, well maybe not a first, but we are going to make it that way. First b-day pictures! I always got Olivia's done so often when she was a baby and now even we have so many w/sports and school, and poor Logan only has a select few. The pictures turned out way too good! He was the best. Once upon a time Liv was the same way! I had a hard time choosing what I wanted, but we managed and now I just can't wait to get them.............adorable!!
That ends the first for now........I had some time to write since Liv went over to her friend's house to play today and Logan is sleeping. Oh also Logan is getting teeth like mad now. He's getting another bottom tooth, pretty soon he will have a mouth full, but he won't let you in there too good to see what is going on, so it's hard to see them! Maybe I should add that Olivia is going into "First" grade!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
